The aim of this course is to introduce learners to services marketing techniques and to provide an understanding of the role of customer service in the hospitality industry, and in particular, the Country Club context. Participants will be introduced to the principles of consumer behaviour and the marketing mix.
Who is CMAS?
Established in 1996, the Club Managers' Association of Singapore (CMAS) is formed by a group of professionals who manage most of the prestigious country, town, golf, faculty and sports club. The CMAS aims to advance the professionalism and quality excellence of club management by fulfilling the educational and related needs of its members.
Together, CMAS and The ISA Group seek to design, develop and deliver a series of training programmes for CMAS's members, and their employees. As part of the collaboration, a skills framework will be recommended and pursues to draw from the existing 31 other national skills framework. The framework will be used to guide all employers within the industry on the recommended skill sets, and competencies required in order to perform well in their desired career pathways within the industry. This will be followed up by a series of workshops and courses to up-skill and develop all employees within the industry.
