The SkillsFuture Credit aims to encourage individuals to take ownership of their skills development and lifelong learning. Introduced in 2015, all Singaporeans aged 25 years and above will receive an opening credit of $500. This credit does not expire. ISA also aims to support the government's initiatives to pick up job-relevant skills for upgrading purpose and boost employability. At ISA, individuals can enjoy up to $481.50 for Singaporeans aged 25 years and above using his/her SkillsFuture Credit.
The Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) is an individual skills upgrading fund specially for NTUC members. This encourages members to undergo courses for skills upgrading. At ISA, NTUC members can enjoy 50% unfunded course fee (before GST) with a minimum of 75% attendance rate, capped at $250.00 per year.
