As Singapore gets used to living in a COVID-19 world, the role of Safe Management Officers in all workplaces is more critical than ever. Apart from meeting regulatory requirements, all businesses must also learn how to mitigate all health and safety risks associated with operating in a COVID-19 environment and put in place the necessary monitoring system for the workplace.
Together with our partner from Singapore Institution of Safety Office, this course will provide all SMOs working in a sports enterprise the knowledge to manage the risk in a sports business.
Safe Management Officers (SMO) duties include (but not limited to) keeping records of inspections and checks conducted and corrective actions taken. The records shall be made available upon request by a Government inspector. Upon completion, the participants will be able to understand the relevant roles and responsibilities expected of a Safe Management Officer in Sports Enterprises. Participants will also learn how to implement a monitoring plan to follow compliances with Safe Management Measurements within their respective workplace in the context of a Sports Business.
